The Exam Reading Room is in private beta. This is how it handles your data while it is.
This is an educational resource for exam revision. Much of it is written by AI and can be wrong: check anything that matters against primary sources and current guidance, and never use it to guide clinical decisions.
In Supabase (database, files and sign-in), hosted in London. The site itself is served by Cloudflare. Fonts come from Google Fonts and code libraries from public CDNs (cdnjs, jsDelivr), which, like any website, see your IP address when your browser loads them.
When you use an AI feature, what you send (your question, or the text and images of a file you ask about) goes to Anthropic, which runs the Claude models, to produce the answer. Under Anthropic's commercial terms it isn't used to train their models. Don't include patient-identifiable information in anything you type or upload.
Other users can't see your revision data; the database enforces that. The site's admin page shows each account's email, plan, AI usage and cost, but not your notes, files, questions or answers. The site's operator has technical access to the database to run and fix it.
Sign-in is kept in your browser's local storage; there are no advertising or tracking cookies.
